A very simple and delicious recipe that’s perfect for breakfast or as an appetizer or snack! Only two ingredients, but such a tasty result!
Weight Watchers Sausage Swirls recipe
Makes 28 swirls
Ingredients
1 lb bulk sausage
2 (8 ounce) cans crescent roll dough
Preparation
1. Open the cans of dough and place on a cookie sheet (trying to keep in one piece), unrolling carefully, and pinch all the edges together.
2. Cut the sausage roll in half, and spread it thinly over both pieces of dough.
3. Roll up the dough lengthwise and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes (or until firm).
4. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
5. Cut the rolls into 1/2 to 1 inch pieces and place the swirls 1/2 inch apart on the cookie sheets.
6. Bake for about 20 minutes (until golden brown and the sausage is thoroughly cooked).
