Makes 12 servings
Ingredients
1 cup white flour
2 cups natural bran
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups skim milk
1/2 cup molasses
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup raisins (optional)
Preparation
1. Dissolve the baking soda in the milk.
2. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a muffin tin, using either nonstick pan or paper liners.
3. Bake at 325F for 25 minute.
