This is a different and delicious way to prepare your oatmeal. It’s very healthy, very low fat, no sodium and cholesterol free.

It’s important not to overcook, so you’ll get that nice nutty flavor with a slightly chewy texture.

Weight Watchers Berry Oatmeal recipe
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients
4 cups water, briskly boiling
1 cup steel cut oats
1 cup blueberries
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon nuts, toasted (optional)
honey (optional) or brown sugar (optional)
milk (optional)


Preparation
1. Pour into the boiling water the oat meal and cinnamon, stir until it begins to thicken.
2. Lower to simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add the remaining ingredients and enjoy!
