WeightWatchers Bread Machine Brioches Recipe
|Very easy recipe – the bread machine will mix the dough for you. Beware it is a little sticky, so you should butter your hands first before serving. The end result is 12 delicious brioches hot from the oven.
Weight Watchers Bread Machine Brioches recipe
Ingredients
3 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
3 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 egg (for the topping)
1 teaspoon sugar (for the topping)
Preparation
1. Set your bread machine to the dough cycle.
2. Add all the ingredients (except the ingredients for the topping) in the order called for by your machine.
3. When the dough is ready, remove from the machine and divide into 12 equal-sized balls. Take a small amount of dough from each ball and make a smaller ball.
4. Butter or grease a muffin tin and place 1 large ball in each cup. Make a valley in the center of each and put a small ball in each depression.
5. Cover with a dish cloth and let rise for about 45 minutes.
6. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
7. Lightly beat the egg with 1 teaspoon sugar and lightly brush each brioche.
8. Bake at 375 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes (or until lightly browned).
