Here's a recipe for some really quick and easy bar cookies: simply top a cake-mix crust with peanuts, milk chocolate candies and marshmallows. The kids will love them!

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup peanuts, chopped
  • 1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
Instructions
  1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Combine the dry cake mix with the egg and butter; spread onto the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  3. Bake for about 16-18 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean).
  4. Top immediately with the remaining ingredients. Bake for about 2 more minutes, or until the marshmallows begin to melt.
  5. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
